You will ensure the technical and operational alignment of Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) across our operating assets and act as the link between internal teams (Asset Management, Portfolio Management, Financing) and external stakeholders (offtakers, market agents).<\/p>\n<p>Working closely with the Commercial team, you will contribute to the evolution of our short-term energy sales strategy while ensuring full compliance with operational, financial and ESG-related requirements.<\/p>\n<p>The position can be based in Coimbra (Portugal), Madrid (Spain), Lyon or Toulouse (France), depending on the candidate\u2019s location and preference.<\/p>\n<p>As the position is open across multiple Amarenco locations, the job description is provided in both French and English to ensure better accessibility for all candidates.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Main Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Support the Commercial team in negotiating PPAs, with a focus on operational and technical aspects<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Manage contracts with market agents and short-term offtakers, ensuring proper execution and follow-up<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Track PPA contract timelines and support renewal strategy development<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Administer Guarantees of Origin (GoOs) contracts and manage associated offtakers<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Monitor and report on the performance of \u201cecho contracts\u201d to ensure commercial alignment with company targets<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Maximise revenue from energy volumes not covered by PPAs through short-term trading and sales strategies (e.g., ancillary services, sub-PPAs)<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Monitor merchant price evolution and adjust commercial approach accordingly<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Align sales strategies with real-time asset performance (MWh production and value\/MWh), in coordination with the Asset and Portfolio Management teams<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Liaise with the Financing team to ensure that revenue contracts meet lender requirements<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Design and maintain internal tools (Excel, Power BI, Python) and dashboards for performance tracking and market exposure analysis<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Support internal reporting and performance reviews with clear, data-driven insights<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Contribute to business development by supporting the identification of new offtakers<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Ensure operational readiness and internal coordination for newly signed revenue contracts.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Profile Sought:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>With a degree in Engineering, Economics, Energy Management or a related field (Master\u2019s degree is a plus), you have at least 3 years of proven experience in the energy sector, ideally in an Independent Power Producer (IPP) or utility, with exposure to energy trading, contract execution or revenue optimisation.<\/p>\n<p>You are recognised for your commercial acumen, analytical mindset, and ability to operate at the intersection of technical detail and strategic thinking.
