HISTORY
Yesterday to today
An independent energy producer, the Amarenco Group was founded in 2018 from the merger of two companies with complementary expertise:
> Méthode Carré, a French design office and project management company founded in 2008 by Olivier Carré to design photovoltaic projects and work with investors interested in this sector.
> Amarenco, founded in 2013 in Ireland by Alain Desvigne and John Mullins to finance and develop infrastructures around renewable energies, in France and Ireland in particular.
With its sound business model integrating the complete chain for solar electricity production, the Amarenco Group enjoyed immediate growth, developing on 3 continents in only 3 years and raising 165 M€ with well-known investors in 2020.
Mission
More than an energy producer
Amarenco builds infrastructures including photovoltaic electricity production that can be associated with storage and battery solutions and green hydrogen research.
Its customers and partners come from all horizons. They can reduce their carbon emissions and improve their competitive edge while closing the gap between energy production and consumption thanks to the digital development of short supply circuits. Furthermore, Amarenco helps regenerate ecosystems in the areas where it operates.
Finally, the group manages projects of all shapes and sizes around the world from design to operation and including their development, financing and production.
Ambition
And tomorrow?
To stimulated mass-market use of low-carbon energy, Amarenco is projecting exponential growth of its installed electric power: 3 GW by 2023, 5 GW by 2025, 10 GW by 2030 and 50 GW by 2050.
With the aim of further helping the fight against global warming, the group is also heavily involved in absorbing CO2 emissions, increasing biodiversity and encouraging regenerative agriculture.
Amarenco can also rely on its talent for innovation and its agility in the design of new business models. The group is developing the infrastructures of the future, including digital solutions that support the emergence of the peer-to-peer energy model. The group works regularly in new territories and is always open to new ideas.

A STORY OF RECONCILIATION AND REGENERATION
More than an energy producer, we want to be an active catalyst in the transformation of our economy and make the words sustainability and profitability genuinely compatible.
At Amarenco, we have a wide range of infrastructures offering a competitive edge to our customers and partners through the integration of low-carbon solar electricity production that is local, economical and can be a source of income.
> To achieve this, we have set ourselves a clear target : reduce global warming by helping decarbonise the global economy by 2050.
> We are convinced that we can achieve our objective , because our foundations are solid, realistic and supported by experts and scientists.
> We defend human ecology , by encouraging initiatives that give meaning to individual and collective actions, to nurture hope.
> We position ourselves as mediators and regenerators , using a balanced ecosystem that renews our minds and our nourishing soils.
> We believe in a new paradigm of regenerative capitalism , based on a logic of respect and co-creation alongside nature and all its species
> We are agents of change and every day we generate positive and renewable energy that encourages us to believe in a sustainable future.

Nature is incredibly resilient, which should inspire us to find solutions for the future.
For two centuries, and especially over the last 50 years, our development model has degraded and even destroyed ecosystems. But a regenerative capitalism is emerging and we must seize it to live and co-construct alongside other species. This is our goal by decarbonising the energy mix and restoring carbon sequestration capacity wherever we operate.
John Mullins
Group Executive Chairman and CEO EMEA
A worthwhile investment that reduces our carbon footprint: it's a win/win
Solar energy can become the most competitive source of energy in many countries if we invest, innovate and, above all, stop waiting. This is the spirit in which we are developing, offering opportunities to both institutional and individual investors with a very attractive return, but also with a sense of purpose, through a responsible and sustainable approach.
Olivier Carré
CEO France
Co-activity is essential in our projects and we rely on agility, always remaining pragmatic.
Producing solar energy consumes surface area, but we can make it ever more useful. On roofs, our photovoltaic panels contribute to waterproofing or insulation, or even asbestos removal. They can also be used for growing crops in greenhouses or raising livestock in sheds. And this can reduce the energy bill, generate income or even finance the project itself.
